Tampa Divorce Attorney

Victoria Cruz-Garcia is one of the excellent family lawyers at Givens Givens Sparks. In every case she takes on, she demonstrates equal parts passion and skill. Her experience in family law, as well as her dedication to her clients and to the legal community, has made her a powerful resource for clients and ATTORNEYS alike.

She earned her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University, where she studied Criminal Justice. She continued pursuing her legal career at Stetson College of Law, where she earned her juris doctorate. Soon after graduation, she was admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and became an associate at a firm known as Joyce & Reyes.

She also gained valuable trial experience as an attorney for other firms, such as Solomon Law Group and Curry Law Group. Finally, Victoria began her own law firm as a solo practitioner. At the same time, she began teaching as an assistant professor at Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, lending her considerable experience in the courtroom to the classroom.

As a part of the Tampa legal community, Victoria is a former president of Tampa Hispanic Bar Association. She has also contributed to the diversity and richness of Florida’s legal community as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Florida Bar Association.
